Tactics
Before Combat: If she is aware that battle is imminent, she casts prayer and magic circle against evil to enhance her allies, and divine favour and shield of faith on herself if she intends to engage the enemy herself.
During Combat: Helena shadows the main melee combatants among her allies, using her spells to heal them and enhance their abilities as well as assist them in melee. Against enemy spellcasters, she uses dispel magic and spiritual weapon to remove their magical defences and disrupt their spellcasting.
Morale: Helena is brave and loyal to her allies, but not foolish, and cautions her allies to retreat in the face of overwhelming odds rather than squander their lives.

Feats
Able Learner: [Races of Destiny] All class skills cost Gruntorr 1 skill point to purchase, even if they would normally be cross-class for him. This does not affect the maximum number of ranks he can have in skills, or the cost to purchase languages. Gruntorr qualifies for this feat, despite not being human, as he was raised by humans.
City Born (Magnimar): [Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide] Growing up amidst the hectic streets and swift words of Magnimar has sharpened Gruntorr's reflexes and silvered his tongue somewhat. He gains a +1 bonus to Reflex saves and a +2 bonus to Diplomacy checks.
Magic Items
Belt of the benevolent healer: Grants a +2 competence bonus to heal checks, and three healing charges that can be expended each day to heal the wearer or someone he is touching, or deal equal damage to an undead. Expending one charge heals 2d8 hp, two charges heal 3d8 hp and three charges heal 4d8 hp.
Vanisher cloak: Has three charges that can be expended each day as a standard action to render the wearer and possibly adjacent allies invisible, as invisibility for 1 or more wounds. Expending one charge makes the wearer invisible for 4 rounds, expending two charges makes the wearer and one adjacent ally invisible for 3 rounds, while expending all three charges makes the wearer and up to three adjacent allies invisible for 2 rounds.
Fullblade Gruntorr wields a fullblade, an unusual variant of the greatsword with a slightly longer but notably broader and heavier blade. In the hands of a trained wielder, its weight allows it to make devestating sweeping strikes that can scythe through flesh and steel with ease.
